A freelance photographer specializing in portraiture, event and landscape photography, I was born in Bosanska Krupa, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I have spent most of my adult life living abroad in England, France and New York City.

With a degree in International Relations from the American University of Paris, France, I moved to New York with a plan of becoming a lawyer. However, with a passion for photography that dates back to my youth, when the time came to send my application to law school, I instead sent an application to the Pratt Institute's photography program.

Hard as that decision may have been, to this day I have never regretted it.

My photojournalistic style of taking pictures allows me to catch the spirit and emotions of the day, that spontaneous quality created and shared by all participants; capturing both posed and candid shots, I work discreetly and diligently, always allowing for a natural flow. And with strong ties to my family, I easily relate to peoples' wishes to capture special moments in the hopes of sharing them with the generations to come.

Based in Hoboken, NJ, I am available for projects both locally and internationally. On this website you can view a small collection of my work, and please feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in purchasing prints or commissioning me for a special occasion.
